What is “Making Space GVL”?

Art Curation focused on pairing local artists w/ local businesses. We create mutually beneficial opportunities for art creators, buyers, & admirers. We install artwork in local businesses on a quarterly or permanent basis. The host business, Making Space GVL and the artists will share the responsibility of promotion. We handle the installation of the show and the delivery if something sells.

How do I buy the art?

Making space will provide a label with a QR code that will link directly to an online retail checkout platform. Customers will be able to purchase and reserve the art, which will remain installed for the duration of the show. The Making Space team will handle any delivery or shipping, unless otherwise requested by the artist. 

Will there be a commission taken if my art sells through a Making Space GVL show?

When any art is sold there is a small commission of 20% Making Space takes. Art will be available online, only through the Making Space GVL commerce site.

I am a business owner and I’d like to host a show. How do I go about this?

We will have a business owner application on the website soon. In the meantime, please send an email request to Hello@makingspaceGVL.com.

How do I get involved with Making Space?

We will be seeking to expand both our artist roster and our client roster, there will be a jot form to request roster placement. We will announce a call for artists periodically. Stay tuned!
